The University strives for Inclusive Access to Excellence in Higher Education and Research to emerge as Premier University of the Country at par with the best Universities of the World in terms of Programme Offerings, Curricular Framework, Pedagogy, Research, Publications and Integration with the World of Work.
The University endeavours to maintain an all-India character and high standards of teaching and research. The Central University of Himachal Pradesh is mandated to:
* Admit students on all-India basis strictly on merit adjudged through Common Entrance Tests or on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination in such courses where the intake of students is small.
* Recruit faculty on all-India basis and promote Inter-university mobility of faculty, with portable pensions and protection of seniority to be encouraged and;
* Introduce innovative Programmes of Studies with fully evolved Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), Comprehensive Continuous Internal Assessment (CCIA), and Semester System.
Desired Profile:
Application Fee : Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- for General Category & Rs. 125/- for SC /ST/ PH drawn in favour of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh payable at Dharamshala.
